Ariane Hundt

Ariane Hundt is the founder of the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and holds a Master's degree in Nutrition. She has a refreshingly interactive and comprehensive approach in helping her clients achieve the physical self they desire. She has been featured on NBC, Fox 5 News, ABC News, CW11, the British GMTV Morning News, various German TV stations and magazines, in The New York Times, and Women's Health as the creator of NYC's toughest workout, the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp.

She provides expert advice on fitness and nutrition to outlets such as MSN Health, Life & Style, the Hartford Courant, and the Chicago Tribune, among others.

Ariane's fitness philosophy is simple: A fit and lean body is the result of a healthy lifestyle that consists of balanced nutrition, effective exercise, and a positive sense of self. Rather than promoting temporary dieting, Ariane believes in incorporating simple, yet effective, lifestyle changes that bring about dramatic results. She specializes in fat loss and health conditioning and draws from a diverse background in physical fitness, nutrition, preventative care, hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Myrna Lopez

Myrna is a certified Personal Trainer and teaches Tuesday and Thursday 6am Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp classes starting in Brooklyn. Had you met Myrna about a year ago you would not have ever guessed that someone was capable of going from totally sedentary and unhappy to being a Boot Camp Instructor who is now known for her "guns". We're glad to have her on board!

Myrna's first experience with the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp was when she joined the Slim & Strong program in February of 2010. She had been struggling with the excess pounds due to a sedentary lifestyle, poor nutrition and life stressors that had her focused on other things than her health. At one point her weight had reached over 200lbs. She decided to join Weight Watchers and lost 40lbs. After realizing she had lost a lot of weight but still felt flabby, she decided to see what the boot camp craze was all about and joined Slim & Strong. In her first workout she thought she had been hit by a truck. The workouts become more and more intense with every week but little by little Myrna started to feel that she had it in her to keep up.

At week three it finally happened and she was able to keep up with everyone else. When you look at Myrna now you would never believe that she ever struggled with her own body or weighed 59 lbs more. You'd never guess she ever had months where she didn't work out. Myrna is known already as the "walking inspiration", always checking in on class participants, making sure they're working hard, feeling good and accomplishing their goals. She's fully invested in your progress and never afraid to challenge herself or you. Her physical transformation has inspired her to teach others from her experience and she is making a difference in the lives of others so that they don't have to go through the same struggles.

Trevor Swaine

Trevor is a certified personal trainer with a passion for functional strength and conditioning. He has played collegiate soccer and volleyball and brings a ton of energy and positive encouragement to his classes. He strongly believes that you can achieve your ideal body and lifestyle if you just dedicate yourself to the goal and consistently practice what you believe in.

Trevor has worked with a wide range of people and has a lot of experience helping clients with injuries and physical limitations get their strength and mobility back on track. He himself has recovered from three herniated discs a few years ago and has since reached a new level of fitness. Exercises that strengthen both your back and abs are part of every workout, along with the typical butt-kicking moves that leave you screaming for more the next day.

Terence Gerchberg

Terence loves running. He loves what running does for his body and mind. You can find him in Central Park or the West Side Highway or just running around town. He has run 12 Marathons, including the last 9 NYC Marathons, with a PR of 2:57. His best half marathon time is 1.22. His passion for the sport is clear when you talk to him about running.

Terence even ran around the world on the TV Show ‘The Amazing Race’. Good thing he is fast because he needed to backtrack on many occasions after getting lost.

Terence has coached and worked successfully with runners of all shapes, ages, and levels of abilities for the past 5 years. Terence’s approach comes from a Zen place: Train, have fun, enjoy it and the results will follow.

Kevin Taylor

Kevin is a certified personal trainer with a specialty in corrective exercise. To him exercise is as much about the body as about the mind – it strengthens his body and recharges his emotions and passion for life. He loves to see people push themselves past their perceived limitations and develop new levels of strength. He is passionate about helping each and every person he has the opportunity to work with becomes leaner, stronger and happier.

Kevin has helped a wide range of people change their bodies through consistently challenging them to break through old limits. These people have lost weight, gained strength and feel more confident. He brings passion, fun, and commitment to each session. Kevin’s classes will leave you with a deeper understanding of your body and enough soreness the next day to know exactly what muscles you worked.
