Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp Success Stories

I have now completed five classes at the Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp and I couldn't be any happier with the levels of energy and endorphins that I get from the workouts. I signed up for the bootcamp because the gym was just not doing it for me any more and from day one I was challenged to levels that I didn't think I could achieve. It's a tough workout - yes. But that's what you sign up for and the feeling afterward is AMAZING. I am about to start studying for the Bar exam this summer and doing this bootcamp has helped me focus and think better. Not to mention the nice perk of trimming a few of those winter pounds and toning all the right areas :)

Ariane and Roy are great and the view from the bridge is just stunning! This really is a workout with a view :) Best workout decision I ever made!

The Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp is without a doubt the best workout I've ever had! Founder and instructor Ariane is wonderful! She works your butt off and motivates you to keep going. The workout makes you want to hate her but she's one of the kindest people I know who is always encouraging and welcoming. The class never gets easy and is always challenging. I have been doing her classes for four and a half months and have built up my endurance to the point where I couldn't run a mile to running most of a 5k. I also am the strongest I have ever been in my life. I always get jealous compliments on my toned and strong arms from my girl friends. My boyfriend doesn't mind either ;)

Working out on the BK Bridge is an amazing NYC experience. The view, the breeze off the water, and the bonding experience with fellow Boot-campers is great. I always look forward to Ariane yelling at me to keep running my butt off after a long, hard day at work.

This is a great workout if you need to be pushed to your limits. Like Katherine, I generally opt for the elliptical machines. Ariane and her crew make you discover muscles you've never used before. You are sore for days to come, but in the man-I-really-worked-out sore. Whether you're a beginner or super fit, the instructors adjust the classes according to your fitness level. I would definitely recommend if you need a kick in the butt or you're extremely unmotivated when you go to the gym.

I am always seeking new ways to challenge myself physically, and the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp provides just that - a challenge! Until the past three months, I dedicated my days to running on the treadmill - logging 5 miles/day, but getting bored with my routine, and not getting any faster.

With the strength and agility drills we do in boot camp, I've noticed a huge improvement in my speed, and strength as well.

All instructors I've been to (Ariane, Colleen, and Roy) have been encouraging, and not the least bit intimidating. I signed up for 10 more sessions today-- Brooklyn Bridge, get used to me!

I had my first class on Saturday morning and it was awesome. I left feeling super energized (and sore the next day...)! It was so beautiful to exercise on the bridge and Ariane led a great class. The highlight was the stairs halfway through. Cannot wait until my next session!

I've been taking the early morning class since last year. I can honestly say that my body has never felt tighter and more toned. I recently went on a family vacation and everone commented on how much my body has changed. If you're looking to shape up quickly and don't want to waste your time on the treadmill or in the gym then you have to give this workout a serious try. You won't have any regrets.

Be prepared for this workout! This is not for the faint but it's totally worth it. I liked that I had to work hard and I was pushed to my max, which I wouldn't do on my own. The workout includes running and strength training with stretch bands.

Ariane gave me individual instruction even though there was a big group, so I felt good about doing the exercises right. It's pretty early in the morning and that is a challenge alone, but it's so worth it! The best thing is that it's really affordable and only $15 for the first time, so anyone can afford that!

I attended the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp for the first time expecting it to be easy like one I did in the park last year but I was pleasantly surprised to learn otherwise. It was really challenging and made me work hard (I've done a few triathlons and half marathons). The program worked both the cardio and muscles and like the slogan says: "with a view". I highly recommend the class for anyone looking to get in shape!

I was expecting to work hard just based on the name but when I was actually done with it I felt like I had "survived". This workout kicks ass and works the whole body. The group is mostly women but they're a power bunch. The instructor Ariane keeps you motivated all throughout even when you want to quit or jump off the bridge. Definitely the fastest way I've found to put a dent into getting back in shape.

Because I live up in Inwood, I have only done the classes offered at Central Park, not Brooklyn Bridge. They've been great! I have had Roy as my class instructor. He is incredibly personable and funny. The classes are tough but he's not tough -- he makes it a good time even when you think you're going to die.

I have always found that the hour-long class goes fast. You basically run for a while, then stop and use a bench or set of stairs or something to do things like lunges, squats, etc. The only other equipment you'll use are rubber resistance bands that Roy passes out at the start of class. I really do love the class. I also have rock-hard thighs now and pretty sweet arms. So yeah -- I really love the class.

I love the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp class. It's an amazing work out and such a cool place to exercise! Even when you are feeling tired you look out over the water, feel the breeze and see the Statue of Liberty. That's motivation enough! It's awesome! Ariane and Roy are awesome instructors. They really push you and make it fun. I am thinking of doing Slim and Strong and after reading the reviews, I think I am!

The outdoor and indoor classes are amazing. Ariane will push you to the limit without ever coming off as a drill sergeant. Taking the bridge classes has made me super motivated to take my running abilities to the next level. The indoor slim and strong classes have helped me learn to lead a much healthier life and I even quit smoking! In addition, of course I totally dropped weight and therefore look and feel fantastic. I highly recommend it!

I wanted to thank you for your awesome class on Tuesday AM -- and for my slight inability to walk correctly today due to the muscle soreness in my butt, legs, adductors, etc.!!!

I had never taken classes in my life because my coordination is terrible. I took my 1st class on January 10th, 2009. I weighed 135 before taking the first class. I also attended one of her nutrition workshops and what a revelation! All I can say is Ariane is amazing. I took the boot camp classes every Thursday & Saturday for a month and I followed her nutrition plan. I'm so happy to say that I am 125lbs now. I can't believe it. I didn't tell anyone that I had made any changes, not even my husband. He looks at me know and says: "Wow, you are looking great. Keep up whatever you are doing!" My clothes are fitting so much better. My body feels tighter and I feel more confident in myself and about my appearance. Thank you Ariane!

Ariane's class has been a pleasant surprise because I have been active since childhood and played multiple sports all through college. Post-college I have competed in Marathons, Ultra marathons, Century Bike rides and training hard in the gym, while playing weekend football and soccer. With that background I can say that Ariane's class worked me hard and challenged me. It helped me improve and gave me different tools to improve my health and performance as well as the moves to resculpt my body. The other plus is that the class is ideal for those looking for a new twist, coming off an injury or just looking to get into better shape. As a person who values and is committed to good health and embraces an active lifestyle, her class is a must! I am impressed and a happy member of the Boot Camp brigade and look forward to future classes.

I am going on my third week with the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp and I have to say, I am seeing results already. The inches are coming off. Ariane is a very good Trainer. I recently lost 90 lbs and now I am maintaining and toning up and the Boot Camp is helping a lot. If you are looking for a high energy workout, this is the one for you.

I noticed a significant difference in my energy level and in the way my body looked after only a few weeks of the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp. Ariane is a fantastic motivator who manages to keep every class interesting and challenging.
